Our Vision
We strive to create a welcoming, safe, and nurturing environment where every child is encouraged to explore their potential, embrace challenges, and develop a lifelong passion for learning. Rooted in Christian values and a strong sense of community, we offer a holistic education that fosters academic excellence, emotional and social growth, and creativity. By nurturing curiosity and compassion, we prepare our pupils to become confident, responsible individuals who respect their Welsh heritage and are ready to make a positive impact. With a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, we inspire children to engage with the world around them in meaningful ways. Together with our families and community, we are building a bright future where every child is empowered to thrive and embrace the opportunities ahead.
Our Values
Our core values — Believe, Achieve, Learn Together — are at the heart of our school life. We encourage our students to Believe in themselves, their abilities, and the strength of the community around them. Through hard work and determination, we support them to Achieve their best, celebrating both their progress and personal growth. Most importantly, we value the idea of Learning Together, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment where every voice is heard. With these values as our foundation, we aim to nurture kind, respectful, and resilient children who are ready to lead, learn, and live with integrity.

'Our school is fun because we get to do exciting work that challenges us to be better and prepares us for secondary school. We've got good teachers who give us exciting working opportunities to learn about our topic which is 'Castles' in my class. The children are friendly and kind and I am friends with most of the school. '

'This school shows us how to prepare for how to be really engaged in our learning for example in our classrooms there are lots of challenges around the room that help us push ourselves to be independent with a growth mindset. Outside we have planters in our classroom areas that help us to respect nature around us, for example by watching the bees pollinate while butterflies feed on the pollen that is around us. In this school, we respect others around us and we are ready everyday when the teacher starts to teach. We use STAR listening which develops our learning skills for example by answering and asking questions like a scholar. We also have three plays a year in our school, connecting to our topic, that allow us to experience what it it's like to perform in front of an audience which makes us confident in our speaking. For example if we had a governor or other visitor come into our school and we really want to talk to them but are afraid we might make a mistake, we just do it anyway because if we do make a mistake, then we just learn from it. It makes us feel really proud that we have done it. Everyday we are safe in our school because we respect our classmates in the way that we respect our teachers. '
